Your Trusted Partner for Accounting and Finance Staffing Since 1994

Paul Brennan takes your brief. A recruiter who works your market finds and screens the people, and once one is in front of you, Paul handles both sides himself through to the offer. Not an account manager, and not a portal.

Paul Brennan, Founder and Managing Partner of Brennan Staffing Group

We are a boutique search firm. That is a deliberate choice, not a stage we are trying to grow out of.

Growing companies have a hiring problem the big national firms are not built to solve. You are too small to be a priority account and too complex to be served by a database keyword match. The seat you are filling matters — a controller who cannot close the month costs you far more than the fee did.

The Brennan Snapshot

Every candidate we send comes with a written assessment: what they have actually done, where the gaps are, why they are looking, what they want, and what we think about the fit. Not a reformatted resume.

It exists because the most expensive part of hiring is your time. Reading five real assessments beats screening thirty resumes, and it means the interviews you do run are with people worth interviewing.

How we work

Four steps, and a person you can reach at every one

  1. The intake call

Thirty minutes with Paul on the seat, the team, and what "good" looks like here — not a job description read back to you.

  2. The shortlist

A small number of genuinely qualified people, each with a written Brennan Snapshot explaining why they fit.

  3. Interviews

We schedule, prep both sides, and debrief after every round so nothing stalls.

  4. The placement

Offer guidance, resignation coaching, and a check-in once they have started.
